About Me

I am a potter from Bangalore. Each and every one of these pieces are hand crafted by me in my home studio. My journey with clay has taken me to studios across the country, from Claystation in Bangalore to Cold Mountain Studio in Dharamshala. These experiences have shaped my craft and my connection to the earth.

Hands shaping pottery on a wheel

My Training

Claystation Studio

Claystation

Started my journey at Claystation, Bangalore. A creative hub founded by Ganesan Manickvasagam, it provided the perfect environment to learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and hand-building, sparking my lifelong passion for clay.

Cold Mountain Studio

Cold Mountain Studio

Trained at Cold Mountain Studio in Dharamshala, nestled in the Himalayas. This serene studio is a known center for pottery, where I honed my skills in a focused, meditative environment, surrounded by the inspiring beauty of the mountains.

Atelier Lalmiti

Atelier Lalmiti

Furthered my craft at Atelier Lālmitti in Andretta, Himachal Pradesh. Founded by ceramic artists Élodie Alexandre and Reyaz Badaruddin, the studio (meaning 'Red Clay') was where I explored advanced techniques and surface decoration.

Amrita Dhavan

Amrita Dhavan

Mentored by Amrita Dhavan, a renowned ceramic artist trained at Delhi Pottery and Golden Bridge Pottery. Her guidance was instrumental in refining my artistic voice and understanding the nuances of stoneware and glazes.
